This male has a dark Red Wheaten colour. Very expressive face with a shadow mask on the nose. Dark Eye with strong stop. Scissor bite, small white breast spot. Deep and wide chest. Strong tail with good implant. Both testicles present. Ridge is wide and reaches to the hip. He has two crowns and a clearly visible club box. Slight off-set crown. No sinus present. Very dynamic.

Magic is a very active and independent male. Early in the morning he can be found alone in the play garden amusing himself in the early morning chill. He is always enthusiastic, playful and inquisitive. This puppy is best suited to an active family where he will find adequate stimulation. A beautiful male in every measure!

Lime is friendly and happy. He is open and responsive. He was not dominant in the litter and rarely looked for trouble but will not back down from an antagonist. Jelani means "mighty one" in Swahili and he lives up to this name! He is best suited to a family that is experienced with large dogs and can provide the commitment to training and structure that he will need.

This is a very positive and happy puppy. He is enthusiastic, independent but also interested in interaction with people and the other puppies. He is very active and playful and will be well suited to a family with children and other pets. A very balanced and positive Ridgeback. Jengo means "strength " in Swahili and I'm certain he will demonstrate that trait best in his outstanding character!

Jabari has a lovely character and becomes sweeter every day. He was the largest of the males and took the longest to develop. He is going to be an exceptionally strong and robust Ridgeback when he reaches his full potential. He likes to play rough with Jelani but is very sweet to the kids and loving to his human family. His name means "courageous" in Swahili and I expect that he will live up to his namesake.

Jumba was one of my favorite puppy in the J litter. He is extremely loving and friendly and is one of only a few ridgeback pups that tried to "purr" like a cat when he is happy! He is going to be a big male and will do best in a family that can give him much love and attention. He is a gentle giant and will obey commands even though he disagrees with them. The word "Jumba" means 'large building" in Swahili. You never know!

Oliver was a beauty from the moment that he was born. He has a fabulous colour and coat of fur. In addition to his "good looks" he is a very sweet boy. Unassuming, pleasant, enthusiastic and expressive. Oliver will make a great family dog and has potential for much more. Jamal means "elegance" in Swahili and is a very fitting name.

This male was the most vocal of all the puppies and spent his early weeks calling to us for attention. Over time he grew out of this habit and became a very sweet and sensitive male. He is very cautious and a bit timid but extremely friendly and loving. He likes to please and is very social. He is a very sensitive dog that needs to gentle treatment and a calm environment. He will make a very loyal family pet and will probably be a good watch dog later in his life. Jenebi means affectionate is Swahili is the perfect name for this big sweetie.

Pink girl has always been the picture of femininity. She is very active and enthusiastic and and can always bee found wrestling with the other females. Although smaller in stature than the males she has a big attitude and is a force within the pack. Her name originates in Yoruba Nigeria and means “everyone loves the child”. She will live up to her name!

Beige girl is the beauty of the females in this litter. In addition to her looks she has a very sweet and secure temperament. Not affected by cold or rain it is not uncommon to find her in the play garden alone looking for things to do. She is not suitable for the show ring due to the kink in her tail but will make a fabulous family pet.

Mosaic is an active and independent female. She is very strong, capable and likes to impose her will on her bigger brothers. She is the dominant female of the litter and only seems to challenge the males She can be stubborn and willful and will need a family that has time to invest in her training. She loves rough play with her litter males but is a very sweet and accepting puppy with her human family. The name Jali in Swahili means “respect” and “honour” and I think we have chosen her name wisely.

Jahia means “prominence” in Swahili and that title fits with her perfectly. She is a large and athletic female that has the build and strength of her mother. She is extremely friendly and loving and can play and lounge in the garden alone or with her siblings at ease. She is cautious in new situations but quickly adapts. She is playful, happy, easy and will make a great family pet.
