It is with a very heavy heat that I share the sad news that the sweet sire of our K Litter 2011, Ch. Ari Lauviah Batido was killed in a tragic car accident on the 20th of August 2011.

Batido was a very special Ridgeback that had a spectacularly close bond with his best friend and constant companion Laura Greco. Her dedication and commitment to Batido was phenomenal. It was through this loving, patient and caring environment that Batido matured into the dog that we wanted to sire of our last litter of puppies with Atiya.

His legacy lives on in the beautiful temperaments of his puppies. We are very thankful to have had him in our lives, if only for a short while.
